Dear Members of the Shawnigan Community,

This is a challenging time for our community. In the midst of the escalating impacts of COVID-19, our hearts go out to those most vulnerable, those delivering care and supporters like you, around the Cowichan Valley, who are having to quickly adapt to changing circumstances. 

Together, we have proven our strength, compassion and ability to improve the health of our community and we will continue to do so through these uncertain and unprecedented times. With teamwork and collaboration, we are committed to doing our part to help reduce the impact of COVID-19 while we continue to support all members of the Shawnigan Lake community.

We want to share our gratitude to so many of our local businesses and community partners who have made sacrifices to keep our community safe – we appreciate your hard work and commitment. Together we will forge ahead and find new ways to connect and support one another through these disruptive times. We encourage you to check in on your neighbours – together we can last out the storm in a loving and caring way.
