As the Environmental Appeal Board hearing gets set to resume today, the Shawnigan Residents Association is getting ready to lead a charge on the legislature Thursday.
Association vice president Calvin Cook says they are expecting hundreds to show up as residents look to stop the dumping of contaminated soil in their community.
They also have a few surprise key note speakers planned.
The hearing into the issue, at the Environmental Appeal Board level has been ongoing for a couple of weeks now.
